FATA University is presently managing a fleet of 02 Buses to provide ease of access to the students of the University. The charges for the said facility are kept normal keeping in view the socio economic conditions of the people of the erstwhile FATA. The University is committed to extend this facility to the maximum of the students and there is plan in pipeline to procure one more Bus for students besides a HI ace for staff, so that incumbents involved with the University in various capacities can travel to and from the University without any hindrance.


FATA University. From its inception is committed to provide better facilities to the war of terror ridden higher education aspirant students and in the absence of any suitable building in Darra Adam Khel and its surrounding hired a suitable building on ring road Peshawar to provide hostel facilities to the students on a very nominal charges. The transport were also provided to the students for attending their classes at the University campus at Darra Adam Khel. After the signing of MOU with the Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, regarding utilization of the college residential portion, the hostel buildings within the premises are being renovated for the students to stay in a comfortable way. The renovation work will be completed before the start of the fall semester.

  • Prime Minister’s Youth Program is a special initiative launched by Government of Pakistan in 2013. The Youth Program comprises the several schemes including Prime Minister’s Interest Free Loan Scheme, Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loans, Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme, Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Scheme, Prime Minister’s Scheme for Provision of Laptops and Prime Minister’s Scheme for Reimbursement of Fee of Students from the underprivileged areas.

The administration of the university strongly believes that the students should have direct access to books and other reading resources. For this purpose, a central library and computer lab have been established in the university. Library provides text books of the curriculum-based subjects to students. It also provides access to a wide range of printed resources like Books, Journals, and Newspapers as well as an extensive suite of electronic resources to the students and faculty members. In addition to this, general collections of books are also available for the students. Furthermore, the library is also in process of buying more books and, therefore, planning to conduct Book Expos in future.


Laboratories are places where theory meets practice for enhancing student learning and problem solving abilities. The Department of Computer Science has currently 02 well equipped and air conditioned labs with state-of-the-art hardware and software development tools. The lab computers are of latest generation with windows OS and host several softwares like MATLAB, Android/IoS studio-SDKs, Java with Eclipse, SQL, and other course related softwares. Both the laboratories are provided Internet connectivity for instant access to digital repositories worldwide.
