The First meeting of the Senate of the FATA University was held in the Governor House Peshawar on August 2, 2018 at 11:00 am. The meeting was presided by the Honorable Governor KP / Chancellor FATA University and was attended by the Vice Chancellor FATA University, Principal Secretary to Governor, Secretaries of the FATA Secretariat, Peshawar, representatives of the HEC and Ministry of SEFRON, Islamabad, Retired Justice, Principles of the colleges, faculty members of FATA University and other eminent personalities of the society as members. The agenda items included the approval of Annual Report, Annual Budget, constitution of Academic Council and other items. The members thoroughly discussed the agenda items and finally approved the items, especially the Annual Report and the Annual Actual Budget of 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 and the proposed estimated Budget of 2018-2019. The Vice Chancellor gave presentation in the beginning and inform the members regarding the progress achieved so far by the management and Faculty of the FATA University.  The members appreciated the efforts made during the early stages of the establishment of FATA University.
