FATA University has achieved a historic milestone under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz, launching two groundbreaking initiatives — the Student Services Center (SSC) and an innovative on-campus internship program for final-year students. These developments mark a new era of academic facilitation and student empowerment at the University. The Student Services Center, officially inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor FATA university Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz alongside Faculty members ,Administrative officers and a group of students, represents a transformative leap in student support. The Center provides a seamless, one-stop platform for prospective students throughout the admissions process, ensuring a more student-centered and efficient experience. Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz remarked “This center is not just a physical space; it is a symbol of our commitment to putting students at the heart of everything we do. I am proud to see our students stepping into roles where they are not just learners but contributors to the University’s growth. Your involvement here reflects the future we envision — inclusive, capable, and student-driven.” Complementing the SSC is the launch of FATA University’s first-ever paid on-campus internship program, offering final-year students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by actively participating in the University’s administrative and operational functions. This forward-thinking initiative was also pioneered by Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional readiness. The internship selection interviews, were conducted under the convenorship of Dr. Akbar Ali. The merit-based process emphasized inclusivity and ensured equal opportunities for female students, reflecting the University’s core values of equity and empowerment. The selected interns will now play a vital role in the 2025 admissions cycle, offering documentation support, real-time guidance, and peer mentorship to new applicants. Their active presence within the Student Services Center will foster a dynamic, collaborative environment where experience and enthusiasm intersect. Through these pioneering initiatives, FATA University continues to lead by example — putting students first, championing inclusivity, and shaping a future defined by excellence, opportunity, and growth.
