Directors of the Offices of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) of FATA University and three partner universities met at FATA University to discuss practical steps for implementing recently signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and expanding joint research activities.
The meeting brought together FATA University Director ORIC Muhammad Akbar Amin, Hazara University Mansehra Director ORIC Dr. Arbab Taufiq, Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) Director ORIC Dr. Zeeshan Bangash, University of Lakki Marwat Director ORIC Dr. Nasir Rahman, and FATA University Business Incubation Centre Manager Dr. Akbar Ali.
The participants discussed launching joint research projects, sharing academic and research expertise, strengthening links among faculty members and researchers, and identifying areas for collaboration among the four institutions.
They stressed the need to translate the MoUs into practical initiatives that could strengthen research capacity, promote academic exchange and make better use of available resources. The participants agreed to maintain close coordination to advance the agreements and expand cooperation in research and higher education.
