Vice Chancellor , FATA University Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz chaired a meeting of heads of academic departments and sectional heads to review academic progress, administrative affairs and ongoing development initiatives.
The meeting reviewed academic activities under the Fall 2026 semester and discussed arrangements for elections to the Student Council for Academic Learning and Enhancement (SCALE). Matters relating to university rankings by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department also came under discussion.
Participants discussed a mechanism for conducting SCALE elections to encourage student participation in academic activities and promote learning and personal development. The meeting also reviewed the importance of academic standards, departmental performance and institutional improvement in the context of the provincial university ranking process.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Mohsan Nawaz stressed the need for coordinated efforts by academic departments and administrative sections to improve the quality of education, promote student engagement and enhance the university’s overall performance.
Heads of academic departments and sectional heads attended the meeting and shared their views and suggestions on the matters discussed.
