A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the FATA University, FR Kohat and PAIMAN Alumni Trust, Islamabad. Dr. Alamzeb Aamir, Director QEC, FATA University and Shafqat Mehmood, Chairman Paiman Alumni Trust, signed the MoU in the presence Prof. Dr Tahir Shah (T.I),Vice Chancellor, FATA University on March 01, 2018. According to the MoU, PAIMAN Alumni Trust would train students of FATA University on themes like Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism, Active Citizenship, Community Peace Building and alternate narratives to extremist narrative. FATA University will co-operate with PAIMAN Alumni Trust in nominating students for workshops that will be conducted and sponsored by PAIMAN alumni Trust. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor FATA University, Prof Dr. Tahir Shah (T.I) appreciated the initiatives of the faculty of FATA University in providing exposure to the students and stressed on the need of sensitizing and educating youth on themes like peace building and active citizenship etc. He was hopeful that such endeavors would go a long way in grooming the students of FATA University both personally and Professionally.
